Courage is Contagious
Our January community spotlight goes to Trace Sherer. A guy who, by pure attitude and choice of perspective, amazes us. At the Houston Texans vs Indianapolis Colts game, Trace was honored by Houston Texans’ President, Jamey Rootes, with the Bob McNair Medal of Courage for how he leads and inspires others. Trace battles a progressive form of Multiple Sclerosis and his courage, grit, and pure desire to live his life is inspirational to anyone who meets him. He attracts people – everywhere he goes – to his energy force. Never out of pity, but because Trace makes people want to be better. He inspires us to push harder through tough days, find the calm in the chaos, make a choice to keep moving through life, and laugh through debilitating situations. We witness these traits first-hand as Trace is the brother of Accendo’s CEO, Kimberly Cutchall. We consider ourselves honored to see what true courage looks like, on a daily basis, through the actions and attitude of Trace. Well done, #TraceSherer.
